44 Pro offers a 1-year, non-transferable, limited warranty policy on bats against defects in materials or workmanship specifications during the warranty period that begins on the date the bat was received by the purchaser. To be eligible for the limited warranty coverage the product must have been bought directly through the 44 Pro website. Covered under this limited warranty policy:
- Severe denting
- Structural cracking
- Broken end caps or knobs
For a bat to be considered a valid warranty claim by 44 Pro the following conditions must be met:
- The warranty claim must be made by the original purchaser of the product with a valid order number from 44 Pro for the original purchase of the bat.
- The bat has not been abused, misused, stored or cared for improperly, repaired, or modified.
- The warranty claim must be completed within the 1-year original warranty period from the date the original bat was received.
- The warranty period covers a 1-time replacement for the bat. A replacement product does not start a new warranty period.
What this bat warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear that happened during play
- Cosmetic damage (minor scratches, deformations, or discoloration) including fading of colors
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence, including prolonged exposure to inclement weather or any other external cause.
- Failure to observe proper care instructions.
- Damage caused by cuts, tears, burns, liquid contact, or abrasions.
- Damage caused by baseball cleats
- Damage to the bat grip
- Unauthorized repair, modification or alteration done by anyone outside of 44 Pro.
- Damages or claims related to the stated weight of the bat, indicated by the drop, which is not intended to, and should not be relied upon to, calculate the actual weight of the bat;
- Variances in the actual weight of the bat versus the labeled approximate weight of the bat as the actual bat weight may vary for numerous reasons, including without limitation manufacturing tolerances, certification calculations and standards, the grip weight, the length of the bat, performance considerations, modifications/additions made after purchase, and/or other reasons.
- Products purchased used, including demo products or products sold with “no warranty”
- Products purchased anywhere other than through the 44pro.com website
- Any damage that occurred outside of the warranty period.
- The 44 custom bat warranty does not cover the return shipping costs including any duty and import fees for customers outside of the USA.
44 Pro does not approve of or authorize the purchaser to physically alter their bat. Alterations include but are not limited to: rolling a bat in a vice, hitting foreign objects other than proper balls, inner wall shaving, end-loading the bat, or any other “bat doctoring” that is designed to change the character of performance of the bat in any way. Any suspected alteration of the bat will nullify this Limited Warranty. To make a warranty claim: Visit help.44pro.com/hc/en-us/articles/39155236077075-Start-a-Warranty-Claim and fill out the requested warranty information. The limited warranty submission must include the original order number issued from the 44 Pro website as a proof of purchase and a photo of the defective section. Proof of purchase is required to be eligible for limited warranty coverage. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by our internal customer support team and we will have the following options to resolve your claim:
- Accept your claim for warranty service
- Request that you send in your warranty product for further review
- Deny your warranty claim
If your warranty claim is accepted, 44 Pro will, at its sole discretion, choose from one of the following options:
- 1) Repair the product
- 2) Replace the product with the same model
- 3) Replace the product with a comparable product should the model be discontinued or otherwise unavailable.
- 4) Provide you with a voucher to be used on other 44 Pro products.
Repaired or replaced custom bats will be processed at the current lead-time at the point the warranty is confirmed. We cannot “speed up” the lead-time for warranty products or expedited shipping.
